This summer, I went to Mars (it’s possible that it was actually Newfoundland’s Bonavista Peninsula and Fogo Island, I can’t remember). While there, I took advantage of the embarassingly rich supply of thundering fog-covered landscapes to make this unearthly little series. I enlisted the help of my awesome nephew and beautiful wife, who, despite the wind and rain, seemed eager to run around and set off smoke bombs. Good times.
