Blowing bubbles with friends in the supermarket. Randomly dressing up and painting my face with flowers to surprise my friend at her gig. At a Flaming Lips concert – enormous balloons, masses and masses of brightly coloured confetti, the music I’ve loved for it’s wonderful joy and weirdness since I was a teenager, getting close and cuddly with the dorky cute boy next to me, and the massive two week high afterward. When I’m trying on a perfect new dress and imagining all the fun I’ll get up to in this one. When I’m making crazy weird silly artworks in my bedroom. When I’m feeling sad and I spray a perfume I love and my whole body feels better, especially those times I just gave to keep breathing it in again and again because it’s just too delicious, like Juicy Couture.

I am at my most playful around puppies. It doesnt matter who the puppy belongs to, where they show up or what they are doing, I turn into a really big softy, I totally forget myself as well as lose all track of time. I particularly like taking that energy into the art studio and playing with colour in the same way; it is a BUZZ….time just goes out the window.
