Imagine a library full of books that have never been read, have never been cared about, and have never been borrowed. Stockholm-based artist Meriç Algün Ringborg has created just that; opening the Library of Unborrowed Books for three weeks. The 600 books were collected from Stockholms Stadbiblioteket (Library) and displayed to try and question why they haven’t been chosen. The books exist, but does anyone care? On a slightly awkward note, the books must have been borrowed for the exhibition.
