Elephant Massage on Bang Tao Beach, Thailand
If you’ve ever dreamed of having a baby elephant work out all your knots and pains, you can now be massaged by one at Thailand’s Bang Tao Beach. The master masseuses, Lucky and Lilly, are 3 and 4 year old beasts with a very beautiful nature. Having actually met the babies in real life, I can vouch for their welfare and say they live a pretty luxurious life. And while they weren’t offering massages when we last met, they did have some pretty slobbery kisses on offer. So if you’re in need of some quick relaxation, looking for an interesting experience, or just want to meet some elephants, Bang Tao Beach is the place. Be careful of the heat, though. The last time I set foot on Bang Tao Beach, I ended up with heatstroke.

Ridiculous! How can you even talk about welfare of the animals knowing NOTHING about how these baby elephants have been trained and raised.
Thailand has no animal welfare laws and most animals working in tourism such as these two elephants are tortured, beaten and abused to entertain stupid tourists like you. NEVER NEVER NEVER buy into elephant rides (and massages), camel rides, rodeos or any other “entertainment” involving animals. There are better ways to spend your money!
