In 2006, the 34-day Lebanon War broke out in Lebanon, northern Israel and the Golan Heights. It was then, and here in the southern suburbs of Beirut, where Kevork Djansezian captured a snapshot of this troubled period for Associated Press: two Lebanese citizens watching Hezbollah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah on television, while black smoke loomed ominously as the country reeled from the attacks. What a powerful image.
