Pieces of Me: Sydney artist Lexi Land’s new exhibtion

Sydney-based artist Lexi Land is known to be as mysterious as she is revealing. Recently opening an exhibition at Leonard Mattis Studio in Surry Hills (the location of our recent Sydney party), Lexi Land is making a mark in the art world with her self-reflective, mixed media works.

Pieces of Me is a series of eight works; mixed media with a poetic accompaniment. The series are said to be self-portraits born from a personal dreamscape; dark, revealing and organic, conveying the maximum intensity of human expression through self-examination and exposure. About the author

Cormack is a young writer/photographer from Newcastle who shot his first music festival at age fifteen. When he’s not writing or photographing, you’ll find him stumbling around gigs in Sydney and Newcastle or soaking up culture and coffee in Melbourne.
