East 9th Brewing release Fog City Sangria in a bottle

East 9th Brewing (the company that supplied us with yummy Dos Blockos pale lager for our recent Sydney party) have released a new drink: Fog City Sangria. What’s found in the bottle is a clean and vibrant drink, made from the freshest of red wine grapes. But what’s even more interesting is the story behind it.

The drink is based on subcultures, alternative lifestyles, Beat Generation writers, the Haight-Ashbury neighbourhood, and the Digger communes. Fog City plays off of its San Francisco heritage, so it’s only right that the artwork on the bottle would come from the same city. Mimi Yoon’s dreamy artwork ‘Eve’ was a perfect fit for the bottle.
