Strawberries: new music by WHY?

Cincinnati indie kids WHY? are set to drop their fifth studio album, Mumps, etc. on October 8, gathering scattered beats, harp sounds, raps, hand claps and a load of creative lyrics. The opening track, Jonathan’s Hope, sets the tone for the album, launching straight into a rap over wobbly, eclectic beats. The chorus’ melody at times is reminiscent of the Dirty Projectors. Strawberries is also a stand out track which brings a sense of playfulness to the underlying darkness of the lyrics.
