Beck is releasing an album, Song Reader, in December. But it’s not a recorded album. Instead, it’s the sheet music for musicians to create their own interpretations of 20 new songs he wrote. The only way to hear the album is if you are a musician who can read music, or if someone records the songs for listeners. The ultimate collaboration! One page of a song was released as a sample on the music publishers page, and here is a video of an interpretation of that sample song by Bradley Dean Whyte, with visuals by celebrity/art photographer, Michael Sharkey.
