New music by Future Islands

The world of ‘alternative/new-wave pop’ is so saturated that it’s really all just ‘pop’. And then there are the Roxy Music-ish vocals and sprawling, melo 70s synthesizer jams of North Carolina’s Future Islands that make you feel different enough to rock an asymmetrical haircut and ride a unicycle. They’re visiting Australia for the first time between September 19-21 and then returning to the USA for a very busy November.

Recorded a cool, fun, funny, or inspiring video (or even better, all of the above!) that you'd love to have more people see? Well, we'd like to see it. And if we dig it, we'll turn it into a Found At E Minor (FAEM) video for our Facebook audience to enjoy. Check out this awesome recent example and submit your videos here!
