New art by Amsterdam’s Danny van Ryswyk

Seeing Danny van Ryswyk’s eerie art teleports me to a strange dimension. His style radiates melancholia, obscurity, and surrealism. However, this mixture of strangeness somehow transforms into a modernized Victorian era, a world wherein petticoats and Siamese twins aren’t strange at all. Van Ryswyk is inspired by anything that exists above and beyond nature. He currently lives and works in Amsterdam.
