Most expensive camera lens in the world

The most expensive camera lens in the world was purchased by Sheikh Saud Bin Mohammed Al-Thani of Qatar, who is quite the wealthy shutterbug. The lens is a custom Leica SPO-Telyt-R 1:5.6/1600mm, which cost $2,064,500. The lens was manufactured in Leica’s factory in Solms, Germany, and a custom 4-wheel-drive Mercedes was commissioned to transport the 132lbs lens. It looks like this photographer must be into some serious birdwatching.
