By saying: ‘I love experimenting’, Lia Melia, like a Martha Stewart of Visual Arts, developed her personal medium for her creations over the years. And these amazing and haptic pieces and colour mixes are the outcome of using powder pigments and solvents which are baked onto aluminium or glass.

Thank you for featuring my work, and for your kind words. I love what I do, and work quietly in my small studio in a Cambridge village, so all this sudden attention rather stunned me! My website had a nervous breakdown with all the traffic; problem fixed now I’m glad to say. It was lucky that a gentleman from Sweden alerted me to what was happening; I’m not exactly very computer literate!
It is wonderful for an artist to get validation for what they do in this way; again, thank you.
