Actually it looks like a caulking gun that spits California rolls, but that doesn’t make it any less awesome. WANT.

The traditional method of making sushi is so easy to learn, and uses a cheap bamboo placemat, available at any chinese grocery or souvenir store for less than $3. Might also want some plastic wrap for inside out sushi. This allows you to make virtually kind of roll you like.
In addition, the most common form of sushi, nigiri, which means “squeezed” is made just as it is named. It is a ball of rice squeezed in the hand. What could be simpler?
The vast majority of time involved in making sushi is in the peeling, frying, slicing and seasoning of the various ingredients. The rice must be cooked and cooled. None of these steps is eliminated by the use of polystyrene extrusion devices.
