40,000 people, one giant tomato fight

An agreeable mass food fight in public. This is the Spanish fest La Tomatina, which takes place in the small town of Buñol, Valencia on the last Wednesday of August every year. Last year, tens of thousands of tomato revellers turned up to fling 120 tons of overripe tomatoes at each other.
