The people at Shell have shot themselves in the foot by creating a public ad contest for people to support their oil drilling in the arctic. They are so oblivious they didn’t expect it to become a meme generator.
If you're an Aussie, passionate about the culture we feature on LAEM, and you have a large online social following, we have a deal for you: become a LAEM-fluencer and help us spread the word about our site. We'll give you free MP3 releases and some pretty cool extra rewards along the way. Hit us up here and tell us why you want to be a part of this new initiative.
pretty sure it’s not really a legit contest from Shell. Whois lookup shows it registered to a PO Box in Vancouver, WA. that and the main page admits climate change is real. still pretty fun to make a fake ad though.
Are you looking to join the Lost At E Minor team? We're searching for a Group Sales Manager to lead our team in Sydney. Yes, this does mean you get to work with the site all day long! If you're a sales star who has the knack, we want to hear from you.
