Penguin Plays Rough is a live storytelling night that’s been hosted at an inner city Sydney warehouse for a few years now. Every month or so, four young writers are invited to read their latest play, short story or novel extract to a live audience, and Pip Smith, who runs the nights, has just started documenting some of these stories online. Download the whole bunch of stories to your music player, press play and take a long walk. It’s lo-fi, intimate and addictive listening.
