New animation by Min Sung Ah

Min Sung Ah is an artist from Seoul, who works in traditional animation. She is fascinated by nature and living creatures of all kinds. Her main short films, Bab Mook Ja and The Newly Coming Seasons, reminds us that humans are only a small part of nature.

On the first film, a young boy is full of joy while playing with insects and plants. On the second one, we see the consequences of military and government behaviors on the infamous demilitarized zone between North and South Korea. She’s already working on a new short film: a mystical encounter between a young girl and the wild.
