15,000 human pink dot in support of freedom to love
Pink Dot is celebrated by people who believe everyone — straight and gay — has the freedom to love. Fast becoming an annual fixture in Singapore since it started in 2009, this year’s Pink Dot took place on June 30 for the first time at night, with over 15,000 Singaporeans — clothed in pink and holding pink glow sticks and torch lights — huddling together to form a human pink dot. Which made for quite a spectacular sight.
