Vertical ocean skyscraper submarine

Part submarine, part ocean lab. Powered by solar, wind and wave energy. Created by French architect Jacques Rougerie, the 170 feet-tall SeaOrbiter is set to start building before the end of 2012 as the world’s first vertical vessel to sail for oceanography research. Looks like a wickedly awesome vessel that might just induce the odd combination of vertigo and seasickness at the same time.
