Check out the very first YouTube filmfest. You can watch all 50 shorts, and vote for your favourites, which will of course be mine, Bat Eyes and Boot. Vote often enough (hit it once per film every 24 hours) and you’ll send me, along with nine other finalists, to the Venice Film Festival. There, a Michael Fassbender-helmed jury will choose the winner, who lands a $500,000 production grant from Ridley Scott. Yes please!
