Sigur Rós’ Varúð: directed by Ingibjörg Birgisdóttir

Icelandic band Sigur Rós are on a roll with their Mystery Film Experiment series, where they’ve invited 12 different directors like John Cameron Mitchell, Ryan McGinley and Ramin Bahrani to create music videos for their latest studio album, Valtari. This music video by Ingibjörg Birgisdóttir features a mountainscape holding its own amidst weather changes and random figurines with torchlights, and follows Ragnar Kjartansson’s music video for Ég Anda, which is also an instructional video to save choke victims. Important skills.
