Handmade, traceable apparel from The IOU Project

Entrepreneur Kavita Parmar’s brilliant new business model is to make handmade, traceable apparel. Each fabric is unique, allowing end buyers the ability to trace the process from finished item right down to the weaver that hand-wove the fabric. The stories of how that item was created, the people involved and the customers who purchased them, are the essence of an e-commerce social network which The IOU Project has built as a meeting place for a community that shares brand values of authenticity, transparency, uniqueness and social and environmental responsibility.
