At Theodore: Art, Scooter LaForge and Christopher Moss pursue their respective practices in painting outside of critical fashion. Moss explores the expressive potential of an avatar of the human visage, as both blocky minimalist landscape element and idiosyncratic subject, all named after varieties of marijuana. LaForge creates odd, inventive narratives full of enchantment and terror, illustrating the adventurous subconscious experience of his bewildered subjects as recontextualized fairy tales.
