This is a short fashion film by Norwegian filmmaking duo Matias and Mathias which was commissioned by BJØRG Jewellery. Since I saw this film about half a year ago, I have watched it around twenty times. The film is very dark and has a real dramatic intensity. It kept me half-breathing while watching.

When subject matter such as death becomes fashion, then I know I’ve seen the workings of shock value. I do like the photography and mood… but wish it weren’t so bleak in objectifying woman as something to be discarded. I’m not sure it’s really about fashion at all.
