I’m a painter living in Tokyo. As is the case with many artists, I’ve tried to find out what my style is. So I’ve painted in many ways, but now, I don’t care about style like I used to. I feel it’s important for me to be free from the notion of style. I always paint like I’m playing music. The important thing when I paint is the rhythm of the composition. Good rhythm make my brush dance, and colours sing.
