Japanese artist Tomoo Gokita’sĀ paintings and drawings are very impressive. He had his first major exhibition at Tokyo’s Parco Gallery in 2000, with the release his remarkable book, Lingerie Wrestling, published by Little More. At that time, he was mostly doing drawings, but he was also experimenting with painting, which led to the development of his distinctive, freeform black and white images. This formulated his unique style of interceding abstraction and figurative forms.
