These stunning visual tapestries by Meg Hitchcock were created out of deconstructed religious texts from the Bible, the Koran and the Torah. Looking through her works, one can just imagine how much work she put into creating these pieces from using paragraphs, sentences and letters and individually gluing them together to create such intricate works. As she explains in her artist statement: the labor-intensive aspect of her work is a meditation practice as well as a personal form of devotion.
