Machine Sculpting a Large Bust of Beethoven

I know many people have strong opinions about how important ‘the artist’s hand’ is in a piece of art. I think pulling polygons is not considered as pure as old-fashioned sculpting with hand tools. Or using assistants, for that matter. German band Kraftwerk always tried to be in the forefront of technology. It works when it’s fresh. But in the end it’s always comes down to the pure content, shape or subject matter. Technique is always secondary.
