Philadelphia-based artist Dan Lehman’s witty hand drawn illustrations are teeming with style, humor and imagination. With thoughts and images intimately accumulating in his ongoing QRS sketchbooks series, the viewer sees Lehman’s visions unfold from his day-to-day life.

Here’s an excerpt from the artist himself: ’By working exclusively in sketchbooks, I am able to keep my drawings feeling less planned and more original. Rather than focusing on specific themes, I use my sketchbooks to explore style through social commentary or whatever is interesting to me at the time. I am currently working on my eighth book from my QRS series, which began in 2007′.
