As we grow older, we all become increasingly aware of our own mortality. It is the mark of adulthood: the reminiscence of a childhood where worries are retrospectively non-existant. It is, therefore, rather moving when public art can bring a sense of community and individuality into our twenty-first century lives.

though this is meant to foster a sense of community, it’s actual purpose is meant to raise awareness for the governments lack of progress in building back poorer, less fortunate parts of new orleans after hurricane katrina. also, by this time, i believe that ms. chang has been commisioned 3 sites.
