Miss Salopette (also known as Mery) creates paintings and illustrations you’d expect to see flying out of a Japanese children’s anime gone amazingly wrong.

Her subjects are childlike, adorable, and so energetic and crazy they seem to change what they’re doing while you’re staring at them. Miss Salopette herself is a Milan-born artist, influenced by weird internet culture, childhood, and Japan’s underground subcultures.
