Ok, so this photo above could well have been my room at the Sebel when I stayed there a few weeks ago: with the laptop open, and the water beckoning enticingly from over the balcony (see photo below). Yessir, this is one heck of place, a fresh addition to the burgeoning Newcastle landscape and a short hop, skip and jump from the Lost At E Minor Newcastle office. Literally.
The Sebel Newcastle Beach has 88 modern rooms, many with furnished balconies, and all with the sort of decor you’d find at some flashy interior design store. You know the ones: they generally come with price tags that send you running out the door. Not here, though. I like. You’ll like. Especially with some of the best coffee in town at several of the cafes on the block.
