Yes, this is a Starbucks cafe. It’s in Tokyo’s Fukuoka Perfecture and was designed by the remarkable Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, who refers to the ‘fusion of traditional and contemporary’. The cafe, which can seat 45 people, was designed to resemble the natural surroundings of a nearby Shinto shrine.
