New York artist Ben Weiner has photographed lumps of paint at close range to create these artworks, which aside from looking beautiful give me the overwhelming urge to want to reach out and touch.

Ben Weiner’s work is absolutely amazing. He visited Eastern Illinois University last year, and his lecture at the Tarble Art Gallery was great insight into all his artwork. The paint images, paintings, and video work connects through his conceptual ideas. If you enjoy these photos, his photo realistic paintings and time-lapse videos are a must see.
