Nuart: an annual international art festival
Nuart is an annual international art festival established in 2001. Since 2005, the festival has focussed exclusively on the street and urban art scene. The festival is based in Stavanger on the West Coast of Norway. Each year they have a really impresive line-up of artists, with a bundle of great murals as result. Nuart has just released a new documentary about the festival, so go make yourself a cup of coffee and watch it here.

Streets of Copenhagen: Street Art meets Graffiti
At my last exhibition, Streets of Copenhagen, I made a 3×4 meter piece in collaboration with Niels Bjorndahl. The exhibition was held in an abandoned Carlsberg warehouse. The theme of the show was Street Art meets Graffiti and the music in the video is by the Danish muscian (and my good friend), Plasma Tiger.

She has sent me some of her latest work, including one of her workspace, for your eyes to feast on. Read more

I’m enjoying reading the insight and witticisms of the Indie Breakfast Club blog, which casts a wide net over entrepreneurship and what it means to be one and still have a conscience.
I usually steer clear of anything smelling of disco-breaks: the thought just bores me. But with Padded Cell’s new release, Night Must Fall, I see a bit of a U-turn on the horizon. There’s something really interesting going on here: it’s a cocktail of 80′s swank laced with woozy narcotic undertones and flecked with snappy drum loops: weird, undeniably dark and ominous, but nonetheless pretty damn satisfying.
