Feasting on Art
Feasting on Art is an innovative translation of painting to plate. Taking cues from the ingredients depicted in each work, recipes are composed into edible adaptions of classic still lifes and contemporary art. A painting of cherries and nectarines by Cezanne is deconstructed into a cherry and nectarine clafoutis. As a broad survey of both the role of food in the history of art and gastronomic traditions from around the world, the blog acts as a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach.
