New York is the most exciting place in the world. Anything at any time can startle or amaze you. I took this photo walking on the street in Soho. The illustration was inside a storefront and is the work of a late 19th Century English illustrator, Arthur Rackham. Only when I got home did I realize the beauty of this piece.

A 19 year old Thai born, American-bred and classically trained with the stage name Violinder caught my attention at a live performance. He jams his strings to Hip Hop tunes and Punjabi songs. You don’t need to understand the lyrics of his work to appreciate his skill. He is destined to be performing with big dogs in the not too distant future.
