Artist Travis English made these amazing minimalist posters for all six Star Wars films. They’re good enough to make you want to watch the series through. Yes, this does mean sitting through The Phantom Menace again, but it almost seems worth it. Almost!

Montreal man spends 382 days living on his bike
We could write something pithy here about how much artist and copyeditor Guillaume BlanchetI must love the sensation of, erm, perpetual motion, but we won’t. Instead we’ll let him tell you what motivated his recent feat of endurance: ‘I love being on a bike. It helps me feel free. After 382 days spent riding through the streets of Montreal, being sometimes quite cold, sometimes quite hot, and sometimes quite scared, I dedicate this movie to you, Yves Blanchet’.

In my teenage years, I was a fanatical collector of Archie Comics, living my life vicariously through the mischevious misadventures of Archie, Betty, Veronica and the gang. Eventually I sold my collection to a high school friend, who bought several garbage bags worth of digests along with my prized Ozi skate deck. This vibrant artwork by Singapore-based designer Hanyi Lee takes me back to that time and I kinda wish that I’d kept the damn things, if only for a few more moments of saccharine sweet escapism within their apple pie, primary colour world.
Peter Nalitch is Russia’s answer to Manu Chao. His video for the song Guitar is a Borat-like jab at low-budget, post-Soviet awkwardness — absurd English lyrics, Eurotrash earnestness, bad wipes, and cheap subtitles. But its tongue-in-cheekness is quite apparent, and the song is disarmingly catchy and romantic.
Babycakes is a fantastic vegan bakery and you don’t have to be a crazy vegan to agree. If you’re in New York, you should definitely pay this place a visit. The creations are fluffy, creamy and crusty in all the right places, and the place is CUTE.
This is a simple blog featuring photos of Charlie, a coyote who lives with a person and some other animals. There are a lot of cute animal photoblogs out there, but this one is more concerned with motion, elegance, outdoor scenery, and frequent use of Old West-y sepia tones that highlight Charlie’s amazing fur texture. I usually steer clear of anything smelling of disco-breaks: the thought just bores me. But with Padded Cell’s new release, Night Must Fall, I see a bit of a U-turn on the horizon. There’s something really interesting going on here: it’s a cocktail of 80′s swank laced with woozy narcotic undertones and flecked with snappy drum loops: weird, undeniably dark and ominous, but nonetheless pretty damn satisfying.
