by Genki Sudo was a flamboyant MMA fighter who developed his own philosophy and has become a famous writer, actor, and singer. His stunning dance/music group, World Order, specializes in mesmerizing robotic movements. It actually is amazing in the way it’s so communicative of the themes Sudo is actually singing about. I’m totally addicted.

This is a music-performance group from Japan lead by Genki Sudo, an ex-Martial Arts champion. The video is the opening event for Worldwide Partner Conference in LA. They have a very unique style with lots of humor.
Japan’s best kept musical secret, Shiina Ringo has been around since the late 90s and is regarded as a major star in Japan. The closest Western parallel you could draw would be Bjork, her music is endlessly interesting to me. The added veneer of cultural disconnection makes her art a puzzle sometimes, which is very alluring.

Musicians in Jacksonville, Florida, often plop themselves amongst breakfasting families to nurse their hangovers at the Fox Restaurant.
