Paintings of distant horizons by Christianna Cassisa
In 2011, artist Christianna Cassisa, created a series of paintings called The Place. In Cassisa’s words: ‘The Place exists inside and outside of each of us, meeting at the point of our inspired expressions’. Each painting is of a distant horizon. Albeit abstract, Cassisa evokes emotion through the unique color palettes used in each painting in the eight piece series.

‘All be it’ abstract, perhaps?

Sorry for the confusion / poor grammar… some the painting in the series are more abstract than “The Place 4″ pictured above. Using different color palettes in each painting, Christianna does a great job of creating different moods… was ultimately my point.
