Richard Mosse’s photo series, The Fall, includes images of aircraft downed and almost forgotten in remote areas around the globe. He made the photographs of crashed aircraft in distant parts of the world using an 8 x 10 camera and colour negative film. The project’s themes are many: air disaster, mechanical archaeology, forgotten hidden relics, time, environment and scale.
