Epic book carvings by Guy Laramee
Book carvings are super. It takes me a frustrating lot of precision X-Acto knifing just to make a collage on a piece of notebook paper. I commend Guy Laramee for his patience in creating these unique works of art.

The corporate world has become an easy target in the age of the Internet, when everybody knows a brand’s logo at a mere glance. As an idle advertising major, I couldn’t help but appreciate the pure honesty and truth behind these parody slogan ad ideas. Read more
Into The Waves: the new album from Sophia Knapp
Sophia Knapp’s angelic voice whisps over acoustic guitar, smooth wurlitzers and mystical grooviness on her new Drag City full-length, Into The Waves. Yet, the true essence of Luxury, as the divine Coco Chanel states ‘is not in the richness and ornateness, but in the absence of vulgarity’. Bravo, I say! Read more
