The legendary 2005 exploits of Banksy have inspired a young unknown (until now) Polish artist, Andrzej Sobiepan, to smuggle his own work onto the walls of the National Museum in Poland. The work was on display for three days before anyone noticed. Of the stunt, Sobiepan said: ‘I decided that I will not wait 30 or 40 years for my works to appear at a place like this. I want to benefit from them in the here and now’. The artwork is now being auctioned off at a charity sale. Eureka!
