Fight! a new comic by Jack Teagle

When I’m not working on illustration work, I work on my paintings and comics. I try to paint as much as possible, I’m very interested in making bold, simple and striking imagery. I’m also currently working on a comic series set in the wrestling universe I created called Fight! Which is being released by Nobrow Press. I’m working on the second issue now.

Animated music video by Chad Vangaalen

Chad Vangaalen’s music is fantastic. He conjures up some very bizarre stories in his songs and completely does his own thing. Not only does he create music, but he also animates his own music videos, which are equally as amazing. It’s as if he is from another world.

Li Wei’s photographs are stunning. So much planning and foresight goes into images which seem like split second ludicrous moments. His work has a great sense of humour.

His work is absolutely brimming with energy and focus, and it can sometimes take him years to complete a piece as he animates solely by himself. Read more

A little retro, a lot colorful and even more fun? It’s the work of Missouri illustrator Tad Carpenter, who truly presents the ultimate trifecta.

My undergraduate thesis involved a series of pieces much like those in Paul Butler’s What’s Within series, except mine involved porn. Needless to say, Butler’s work is much more subtle, evocative, and effective. Read more

Starting off as a music blog, and recently reaching to the world through their online radio, etm.fm focuses on music that does not receive commercial attention from radio stations in South Africa. The site has only been running since February 2011 and the station since January 2012. But it’s all growing in audience very quickly.
