Fun summer video for Una Catarata de Caramelos

This is a perfect pre-summer video from Mariano Gilmore and Belle. I was honoured to be part of the creation of this video by invading sunny Buenos Aires with multi-coloured balloons, drinking a couple of cold cans of beer, and having a good reason to enjoy the city among friends and great music.

Theatre of Life: brilliant improvisation by Nick and Beck

Two guys from the comedy group Good Neighbor sit in deck chairs in Venice Beach, giving voices to the stream of weird and interesting people that walk by. With just a camera and great improvisation, Theatre of Life, from comedians Nick and Beck, is one of the best shows on YouTube.

Black and white street photography by Severin Koller

When I saw his blog years ago, I was happy to find a young photographer that chooses to shoot with black and white film. I used to have a Livejournal. I remember when blogging was so much more earnest and emo back in the mid-Aughts. Embarrassing. Good to know there are people like out_4_pizza, who use their blogs to post amazing digital art rather than every detail of their personal lives. Read more

Haunts is one twisted, skewered, pulsating, gyrating disco tune. Seriously. Jacob Safari, aka Bark, Bark, Bark, sure knows how to take a dirgey chord progression and dress it up in layers of disjointed, unsettling noise.

You’d be hard-pressed finding a designer with a more impressive background than Jessie Hill. While most of us were waiting to outgrow our awkward teenage years, she was already on her way to Los Angeles. Leaving her Sydney home at just seventeen to pursue her love of fashion, it wasn’t long before Jessie Hill made a name for herself, styling cool kids like No Doubt and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
