If you’re familiar with the work of Banksy and Mr. Brainwash, the title to this film probably sounds faimiliar to you. Banksy’s Village Pet Store and Charcoal Grill was a pop-up shop that appeared in New York’s West Village, back in 2008.

Then in 2010 came Exit Through the Gift Shop, the insightful, documentary into the colourful world of Thierry Guetta, a.k.a. Mr. Brainwash. You might say that Exit Through the Pet Shop is a combination of the two. I would say that it’s a parody of Mr. Brainwash’s film, if he wasn’t already a parody of himself. This film, starring Keyboard Cat, is bound to go down in film history as the best portrait of the artist as a young cat.
