Growing Up: An Exponential Journey through photos

I’m an art and photography student from England and my work mainly focuses on the ideas surrounding youthfulness and growing up. Through my photography, I look to express my feelings in a unique way. Me & my friends are all at a time in our lives when one decision will change our lives forever; whether its going to uni, getting a job etc. This is an incredibly daunting prospect, but exciting at the same time.

Capturing people holding natural objects to represent the metaphorical balance between making right and wrong decisions, mirrored work using reflection and creating a sense of serenity within the natural landscape. Ambient moods are a recurring theme, reminding us that away from all the chaos of everyday life, there is always a calm place to return to.
