I love Mr Frivolous’ illustrations because no one could make them but him (impostors take note). His work is such an extension of his personality, he may as well be sitting next to you. Beautiful, stylistic felt-tip illustrations are filled with bright colors, doodles, hilarious quips and self-deprecative notes-to-self.

It’s great how quintessentially British some of his musings are: whether referencing the UK’s truly unbelievable Rasta Mouse cartoon, or speech bubbles that say ‘Go get us a cuppa, would ya?’ But then he also weaves in fine threads of philosophical gold, such as ‘Try to make ends meet, you’re a slave to money then you die’. Or ‘tomorrow is life’s best kept secret’.
