My friend Pauly Lingerfelt has the most cohesive aesthetic of anyone I know, be it his vintage style, old-school black and white tattoos, or the beautiful antique objects he has in his house. His artwork reflects this retro-yet-timeless sense of beauty that expresses something essential about the centuries of overlapping traditions in his native New Orleans.
